What will we learn?

Modelessen is a combination between sewing techniques and drafting patterns with the focus on your own creativity and ideas. The classes are made for starters and advanced sewers. You will learn to draft different patterns in your own size. You will also learn different sewing techniques like putting in a zipper, sewing pockets and many more.
With this information you will be able to develop your own sketch or photo in to a real clothing piece. We will be helping you with the techniques and also with you creative process.

What about the classes?

The classes are given in small groups with a maximum of 7 participants, so there will be enough time and space for personal support.
The course will do not have a specific starting or end date, so it’s possible to work in your own pace.

The price:
payment by month: € 61 (if you use your own sewing or lockmachine, you will get a discount)
payment for a half year (5 months): € 290
child course by month: € 26
trial class: € 7,5

Sewing-machines and fabric

If you have a sewing machine and would like to use it, it’s of-course possible. You can work with your own machine and trusted tools. If you don’t have sewing machine yourself, you can use one of the available machines in the workspace.
We also have a huge selection of fabrics. Stretch fabrics for the first assignment are included.
For the other assignments you can bring you own fabric or you can buy one it at Modelessen.
Haberdashery are also for sale in the workplace.

    I am a beginner, skill is zero, but i am willing to learn.
    I believe this lesson is in Dutch, not sure if the lesson can be provide in English as well?

      Dear Tingting Shi,

      You can attend the course even if you don’t speak Dutch.
      The main language of the class is dutch, but I can explain everything in English, and we’ve translated the information forms on pattern drafting to English.
      There are more non dutch speakers in the class
